Remove Menu Bar End Caps option

Any chance of seeing an option to remove the end caps Layers on all menu bars (main menu bar, side bars, 2bar mod)? For some reason those stupid eagles annoy me and I find myself editting the .xml to comment out the Layer tags to get rid of them when the files change.
