Quest Share Broken?

I don't see any of the other party member's quests at all - do they also need to be running Cosmos for this to work?

Yes, QuestShare depends on the other people in your group having QuestShare installed, too. Unfortunately, there is no way around this (there is no way to "poll" other players for what quests they have automatically AFAIK).

Spread the word - Cosmos is for everyone! :)

I'm not seeing other party members quests and they can't see mine (and they DO have cosmos also AND have quest share turned on).

We both have latest Cosmos_Alpha (QS version is 2.5).

I've posted the bug on the Bugzilla - check it out here (http://wowmods.ogre.com/show_bug.cgi?id=8) and add any information you can think of (shoesize excepted :) ) such as what options you had active, et cetera. The bug is still unconfirmed since I lack another person reporting about experiencing the same problem (and since I can't find someone to reproduce the bug with).

Just a thought! I've been using the "advanced chat" stuff (General, party & combat "chat tabs"; I wonder if it's stripping out the quest share messages? If so then we (Cosmos developers) will have to find a work around for this.

I just tested this; When I logged in QS worked (with AC on) when I turned it off QS broke; turning AC back on didn't fix QS. The other member of my party also tried AC on/off; didn't fix QS.

We were both using the July 28 Cosmos_Alpha.

It might be that the chat channels get "broken" when you switch between chat modes (advanced/normal).

Try logging in again and see if it works now.

Then try switching to advanced chat (it will probably break).

Then log out and log in again.
