translucent bars?

I don't know if someone has suggested this already, but how about making the side bars and the extra bar translucent. So that you can kind of see through them. Keep the buttons pretty dark, but just see through enough so that you can see the enemy with the red text on the other side.

I don't know if this is possible, but I notice that the chat channels in the new patch are see through.

If this is as easy to add as it seems, then it might be possible to implement a transparency slider. We'll see.
