Since Cosmos isn't currently working with the new patch, I haven't been playing any of my casting chars because of the lack of sidebar hotkeys. Before the sidebar hotkeys I would switch between hotkey banks which wasted precious time, and many times I'd have the wrong bank up, which lead to disaster.

It would be nice to have a basic interface that is immune to patch changes that would allow us to use the basic sidebar hotkeys and second bar hotkeys. If a patch should break this hotkey only interface, it should only take a couple mins to fix it, rather days or weeks.

EDIT: BTW, I tried the Moo interface, but it totally screwed up my keyboard layout, so beware if you use it.

You can not make a mod "patch-immune" per se.

Basically, this mod added lots of functionality which should make it possible to do somewhat "patch-immune" mods - the basic idea of Cosmos is to provide a framework that will be updated very soon after each patch is sent out and that will allow mods that build on it to be independent (as much as is possible) of the Blizzard code.

We all hope that Blizzard won't make too many drastic changes in their UI area anytime soon, both since we want mods to keep on working plus the fact that we (we meaning AlexYoshi, well, with regards to doing actual work :) ) don't want to remake Cosmos each patch. :)
