Chat Names To Reveal Character Level, Class, and Race

I have Cosmos set up where everyone's name in chat is linked. If I click on the name it sets me up to /whisper them. This is a great feature. Now I'm spoiled and would like to see what level, class, race, etc a character is when their name appears in chat. I would like to be able to roll my mouse pointer over the character's name showing in chat (or maybe right click) and it would display their character details.

Is this possible?

It is possible to get someones level and class (I think), but it would cost a bit in terms of bandwidth. Basically, what you would do is to either make a /who request when you mouseovered someone (least expensive method if you do not do this often), or you could do a general /who every once in a while (and again when an unknown name appears in the chat).

For now, you can enable the ability to shift-click names and get a /who for that person.

I will see if I can find an interested developer that wants to do this - I'll post it as an enhancement on the Bugzilla.

However, due to the inefficiency or complexity (depending on what method you chose to implement the who-querying), it's not likely to come "soon". :)

Nag me if I haven't posted an enhancement request on the Bugzilla within a day or so.
