HP/Mana Text Display.. Suggestions

I'd love to have an option to disable description in character portray such as Mana, Health, Rage, Energy and only leave percentage number there. This apply to both self-portray and group-portray. This make more sense because color difference between rage, energy and mana is pretty self-explanatory.

Also, I'm wondering if it's possible to use a better font for better readability? The current one is just too aliased and shrinked.

What description do you mean? The bars themselves, or the numbers?
There should be little problem in changing the numbers to percentages, however, the main issue is with presenting the user with options that make sense. For example, we could make it possible to enable/disable percentages - but what would happen if numbers were also enabled?
Anyhow... if you mean percentage values, it is certainly doable.

The main problem with changing fonts is that currently, as far as I know, you can't do it from a script, which means that you'll have to do it in the XML files as well as it affecting everyone.
If I'm wrong about this being impossible to do in a script, ignore this paragraph. :)

I believe (I may be misunderstanding) that he's talking about the word "Mana" or "Rage" or whatever. Since what the gauge represents is self evident by its color (not to mention position), having the word on the gauge is pretty superflous. Taking that off would allow for some extra space that could be filled with the percentage.

I'd just like to say that I agree with this myself. I'd love to have the percentage on the gauge, and since it's pretty cluttered on there removing the "Health" or "Energy" etc description would probably make it a lot easier to fit the value.

I agree. I would like to see as little as possible on the bars so that the actual bar can be clearly seen. With all the text on there, it can sometimes be difficult to see the amount -- Especially for party members.

Errr, just to clarify having reread my post after removing the text descriptions, I meant that it can be difficult to judge the amount based on a glance at the bar itself. Of course the numbers can be read either way, but the bar is obscured by so much text.
