I've been using the Item Buff Display add-on lately, and whilst it does its job nicely, I've got a few possible suggestions I thought I'd submit for it.
One I think AlexYoshi knows about, namely that the buff display, even if it is disabled, will pop back up when a buff starts to expire, and obviously if it's disabled it shouldn't show up.
My second suggesetion would be an toggle to switch to more compact format -- MooBuffMod-style clock below the buff, and charges (such as those for poisons) showing up as a standard stack-count type number ON the icon. This would take up a lot less space.
My final suggestion would be more flexibility on where these display, whether they should be vertical or horizontal, and so forth. If icons can be scaled, I'd say there should be an option to put item buffs in the same
place as all other positive buffs. If they can't, then...um...I'm not sure what I'd do.
My apologies for not trying to do this myself, it would appear my modding time isn't as abundant as I'd thought it was.
Thanks.
