Can't seem to get the patch to work

I started off by uninstalling the UI, then deleted the directory just to be sure. I reinstalled Cosmos, did a complete file check, and then installed the patch. I am still getting Outdated Cosmos and am not sure what I am doing wrong.

Sorry, that's what I meant by patch ;). Let me rephrase: I installed Cosmos, did a complete file check to make sure that none of the new files get overwritten, and then I copied that test version into the directory and overwrite all the files. Is that not the right way to use it?

That seems about right.

Make sure that your Interface directory (in the WoW directory) has two subdirectories (AddOns and FrameXML).

I have the same problem, and noting suggested fixes it (mungalpha, deleting the Interface directories, deleting WDB files)

Nevermind. The problem was that I installed the test files and then used the patcher to update.
