Exactly which frames are movable now?
Ehm... Bank, Durability, Mail, Party member frames, Player frame, Target frame...

Ok this is going to sound silly.. but HOW do you move them?
I've NEVER been able to drag any frame around other than Questminion and chat. Every other frame is locked in place. Unless I change em via the XML directly i'm stuck with cosmos/WoW defaults.
Is there some option to 'unlock' them?
No... I provide a patch for the XML files.

Wonder what other goodies you have that arent' in cosmos :P

Hmm ok found one that sounds interesting..
TellTracker, but cant' get it to work
Also I copied those XML files into my framerate XML but:
Group window moves OK
Target Frozen
Player Frozen
and can't get to bank, nor see durability atm :)
TellTrack is under construction by me and Lash (literally as I type this).
Hopefully, it should be out before I go to bed tonight.
OK, I'll have to check out Player/Target frame myself and see what I can do. That is not my current priority though.

Corretion to my earlier post..
Character and Target DO move.. don't ask what i was clicking on ;)
I wish the actual PaperDoll Screen moved tho.. but the rest is nice :)
Silnt, it would be possible to do, but kinda klutzy since clicking on the buffs have a certain meaning.
Also, due to to how the new/original buff mode works, it would prolly be reset every time you switched.

I did notice an odd bug with the movable frames however.
Every once in a while, the frame 'sticks' to my cursor. I can't seem to get it to stay back on the screen without performing a /reloadui.
Yeah. Don't ask me why, though. I've tried to make it "unstick" on a click.

I think i have a fix for the stuck dragging.
Change <OnClick> ... </OnClick>
to
<OnMOuseUp> ... </OnMouseUp>
Mine haven't stuck since.

Also, just about have a movable bags mod done as well. Just tying up some loose ends of having it remember where each individual bag was last shown.
Thanks, DmgInc - I've added that code.
Since I don't personally use the moveable frames, I don't keep them updated as much.
With regards to saving the position, could you see if the DurabilityFrame position is saved OK? If so, I can use that code to power the other frames' positions.

When these movable frames are finished, will they be a part of Cosmos, or will we need to simply check that directory listed in one of the first posts?
I LOVE movable frames. If i could move bags alone I'd be happen (really hate them on the right side)
Movable frames will probably be a part of Cosmos, however, they won't work exactly like mine does (better, prolly).

is it possible to make the casting bar moveable?
i have popbar default to 2 rows and when casting the bar covers up some hotkeys. so id want to move the casting bar up out of that area.
Yes, it is possible to make the CastingBar movable.
It is not as easy as the other windows though.

Do they save their position or is it just sometimes they don't?
I don't know enough about scripting to understand what to do to make them save positions. :P

Ah there is an issue with the party window. When I overwrite the partyframe file with the newest one the party frame in game is nowhere to be seen. I tried reforming my group and restarting wow.
Anyone else?
I haven't updated them yet.

I am getting an error messege everytime i group up and and look at the map. If i take out the file "partyframe", my whole group disappears, the icon frames and all. Error Messege:
String: PartyMemberFrame1:OnHide
Line: 2
Count: 1
Error: attempt to index global `UnitPopup' (a nil value)
how do i fix this?

Guest, Do a Cosmos update and clean out of old files. It worked for me and my guildmate.
I still get some error in my chat window "Maximum time limit met blah blah blah" any help?

I hate to be a party pooper, but you don't need to edit the framexml to make most frames movable. Meet my new Mobile Frames: http://www.curse-gaming.com/mod.php?addid=408
It allows you to easily make most frames movable by dragging the top bar. Unfortunetly it only works on frames that already have movable="true" in the xml, but If you like xml mods that seems like something you could easily change for your own needs. Ex: the bag containers are not movable, but you could fix that in their xml and then make a new MobileFrameBar for them.

I tried moving the Character and Quest Log windows around.. and suddenly I got severe framerate lag.. down to like 4FPS, when I'm normally at 60.
I logged out, disabled all of cosmos, came back, and the lag was still there. So I reenabled everything except mobile frames, and now I'm back to 60FPS with both Character and Quest windows up.

yeah I've been noticing severe lag related issues but I can't seem to find the source. If you have only Mobile Frames installed the problem doesn't exist, but then if you run cosmos with mobile frames everytime you open a window it lags down to about 7-10fps. But then when I disable Mobile Frames I still get the same thing. So now I'm just completely confused. I have Mobile Frames disabled and still get lag whenever I open a window. And sometimes even after I close the window... something has a leak, I just don't know what it is.

Yeah, getting the exact same thing as the 2 above me have experienced since updating to the newest cosmos. Even deleted the addon from the interface folder to no avail -_-; any suggestions?

I am having a similar problem, I got one of the player tiles stuck to my cursor and I reloaded my UI, now the 2nd member of my party never show up. I tried both the move party to the right and unchecking and rechecking the moblieframes in the addons section, neither has worked. I think the tile was moved of screen. Can anyone help me?

Same here, i have disabled the MF and still have a problem, I removed interface files and reistalled cosmos... still nothing ... but i only have the problem on 2 of my 5 characters i.e when i make a new character it dosnt have the problem even with MF installed.
FPS lag will be fixed soon in new MF.
We'll also have a "reset party member window positions" button in the Cosmos menu -> Interface Options.

know something funny, MF won't let you move the cosmos screen (the one that pops up when you clicky on the C button :)
