cannot mine anymore... :(

i can see the copper mines on my mini map and on the screen, when i am far away from the copper rock i can read (in green, because i have it) 'requires mining' when i go over with the cursor, but when i am close enough to mine the little axe doesn't show and i am not able to do anything :cry: it's as if i don't have the mining skill anymore once i am at the rock

no i think its a bug from this new wow patch.
cause sometimes i can see the mine im near it, with the minepick and the simbol to mine doesnt appear.
and it was not only me that saw that.. sometimes 3 or 4 miners together and noone could mine the vein...

This was a problem a few patchs back in closed beta.. seems they broke it again. The solution before was a complete relogout and log back in fixed most issues of this nature. Was definatly a WoW bug and not cosmos at the time (pretty sure it's still that way but i've not experienced this myself so can't be sure).

i just found out that i have that problem only in westfalls (so far) - so as long as i can mine elsewhere .... thanks for the help, i am glad that at least i am not the only one, and btw, i have a mining pick - if not i'd be very puzzled WHAT the heck i've been using so far for mining... :lol:

well today i noticed another thing.
using the skill to see in minimap the cooper veins , lots of time i get there and theres no vein... ppl can say someone already mined. ok but normally when this happens the yellow dot on the map disappears and thats not the case... i think maybe its a wow bug not from cosmos...

AKAIK UiMods can't interact with the sign's on the Minimap, cause they aren't generated by (the customizable part of) the ui, there is only a layer which says the client "put the minimap here" and everything on the minimap is done without the influence of a ui mod.

but a bug caused by last update from wow...

Welllll... I too cannot mine now as of last night. Two things happened last night:

1. I installed Cosmos.

2. The servers went down for "maintenance".

Before those 2 events I had no problem Mining. My first guess would be its cosmos, because as far as I know they changed nothing during the server maintenance.

Symptoms: I can see the mining vein on both my radar and on my screen but I do not get the mining interaction cursor when I mouse over it and nothing happens when I click it.
