Let me start off by saying that I really enjoy the UI flexibility I have with Cosmos. TYVM

Now, on to the issue at hand. Ever since I have loaded Cosmos, whenever I enter a cave or small "dungeon", I no longer see it mapped out in my mini-map. Before, it would "paint" the area as I moved around in it. Is there something I need to adjust to get this working as it was before? I would prefer not uninstalling Cosmos, just to see if it is related, if at all possible. I hope someone has had this issue before and can offer a fix, or perhaps even having a simple setting I might have forgotten or missed. Please advise. TIA

Hmm... please try this after you've uninstalled Cosmos (renamed the Interface directory) and see if it is a WoW bug or a Cosmos bug.

Darn Sarf, I was hoping you wouldn't suggest that. :(
/em lazy
I will give it a try and let you know though, and if it appears to be related to Cosmos, I will get as much info as possible and bug rep it.

Thank you for the fast response!

You're welcome. :)

And I totally understand that lazy part... the reason I am asking is because I don't have this issue (AFAIK) with Cosmos, so...

Well that was strange, the issue cleared itself.

*shrug

Heh, good thing too, I was just going to let it go since I'd rather spend the comp time playing than troubleshooting. :P

i'm having the same issue. minimap in cities/dungeons is just blank. it does go away sometimes for a while, sometimes just a few minutes, sometimes several hours.

it works fine if i uninstall cosmos, and just use the normal blizz stuff.

i'm reinstalled cosmos after renaming/deleting the interface folder.

i've also tried to isolate a setting which is causing this, no can do.

My Specs:
P4 3.0ghz
2GB Ram
Gainward Geforce 6800GT

I can't think of anything else that's relevant.

BTW, cosmos is awesome, keep up the great work, i used it in beta, and wouldn't want to play without it.

I am also having this same problem, but the difference is it's nott intermittant for me, it's permanent. I started with Alpha r178 1-dec 2004 from http://www.fukt.bth.se/~k/wow/cosmos/oldcosmos/,, now am using Cosmos_Alpha.zip 03-DEC02004 from http://www.cosmosui.org/cosmos/. I have had this problem since I first installed COSMOS. Other than that, I really like the UI.

Try the latest snapshot from my site.

Might be lag related, too.
