This topic is also being covered quite a bit on the WOW boards, but I haven't seen a response yet.
Basically I can not get Thottbot to collect any of my data and upload it to the site. I have tried just about everything I can think of, but I can't get any of my characters uploaded.
In addition, I have been getting this error as of late when I try to loot an empty corpse...
String: Interface\AddOns\Thottbot\Thottbot.lua
Line: 1
Count: 1
Error: table index is nil
I have tried the alpha and beta versions but yet I still can't get Thottbot to upload. Please help me! Thanks (I have also documented this bug in bugzilla).
Known bug. :(
Until we can get Thott to fix it, nothing much we can do other than tell you to disable ThottBot (deleting the ThottBot directory if necessary).

Sarf, I want to tell you (in case it helps) that It IS uploading your target profiles, but it is not uploading your own profile.
It takes about a day for the target profiles to show up, but I imagine thats because of the mass amounts of uploading going on.
Thott notified.

I wonder if this is bugging everyone? Because I am not having any problems. A few days ago I couldn't upload, but then again I couldn't connect to the thottbot server so maybe it was just down. I haven't had a debug message pop up yet.

Well Sarf I am having a strange issue and trying to track it down. I can no longer see thottbot.com form home. I can use my website to oull the site to it and then I can see it sometimes. I am trying to figure out the Javascript to see a given profile too but no luck. I can see it fine from my work using a t1. Now the funny thing seems to be with Comcast cable, so far 4 others I know who have comcast cable as their ISP they can not see the site eitheir. Just wondering if there is an comcast users out there that can see thottbot. if so it may not be comcast per say but soemthng else. Checking a traceroute now. let you know what I find out.

has there been a fix to this issue ?
Hey, sup?
I've been using cosmos and thott regularily since June and the last couple of days I've noticed that thott isn't updating my profile. I have the top three boxes checkmarked in the Thottbot category in Cosmos Options. Shouldn't that be sufficient? I thought that was all I needed to do... it's been working flawlessly till now.
Regards,
Nube
Edit:
For reference, yes, I've been hitting cosmos***** and it has been uploading tons of data, but my profile still isn't updating. It's now been at minimum 56 hours since my last update on thott, although I've uploaded at least 15 times since then.
When did thott decide to KERPLODE?
Is there a possibility that the data being stored by Cosmos to be uploaded to Thottbot is not being stored in a way that Thottbot likes? If so, where's the data stored before upload, and what should it look like?
but how come, new items are being added to the site everyday??

I bolded the IP that I seem not able to get past to see the site, but at work it goes through. Is that a authentication server that then would reroute to the site? Or is a IP being blocked and not a user from thottbot?

I can get to thottbot.com from home, but not from work - it stopped working yesterday. Work routers edited out (10 hops worth! whew)

Does your work use a proxy? I saw something that maybe cuasing this issue. It was that certian proxies do not like web pages that do not have closing HTML tags in them and will stop letting the user see the site. This might be the cause. Still checking on that though. More info here:

yes - i saw that post. there's no proxy. to test, i created a geocities page with the code from the thottbot page. it loads even though the html tags aren't closed.
you can use tcptraceroute to check to see if you're behind a transparent proxy which also turned up nothing.
