I recieve the same error when logging off, but it only appears to do it when i type "/logout" or "/quit".
I get a direct crash to desktop.
If I type "/camp" is sends me to the character selection screen.
I'll have to double check, but it might crash periodically when I exit after this.

I am having this same problem. But it happens whenever I quit/logout, either by /logout or /exit or if I log out / exit from the main menu. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling WoW, but it didn't help. Please someone help us! Any estimates on when this will be fixed?
Thanks
Chaosmage.Shattered_Hand
It can't be fixed unless I have a clue what's wrong... and I don't.
What kind of hardware do you have in your computers?

Ah, I see your problem... you have too good hardware. :D
I have :
Intel P4 1.7GHz, Radeon 8500 64 Mb, 768 Mb PC133, Audigy Player
So... seems like your hardware isn't too new or too old. :(

I have a similar problem, where if I use /quit my computer will usually crash and lock up. I haven't tried playing WoW without Cosmos, so I can't say whether Cosmos is the culprit.

this is the same error that I've been getting, I've posted in another topic with the exact error, someone suggested turning off thotbott, but I never turned it on to begin with.
It seems to randomly happen when exiting, usually when my mouse is hovering over something, not selecting it, but hovering over it.
this is the error i just got :

I get this same error while logging out, I was thinking it was something I did wrong. Glad to see that isn't the case. Hopefuly a fix can be found, because Cosmos is a wonderful tool. I would probably be lost without it.

 Annoying bug!
I get this little "bugger" of a bug around 33.3333% of the time when logging out, and I do know it is a cosmos UI error. My friends never had the error until they got cosmos, now they are getting it too. I find it strange that only this few people have had this problem? cause its rather annoying....PLEASE fix it, it almost makes me not want to use cosmos anymore....

Are we sure it's Cosmos? I get that identical error when I /camp almost every time but I never really attributed it to Cosmos.
In reality, if you're crashing with that error, it's probably a Blizzard issue since it's an untrapped error that technically should have been handled gracefully.
My hardware is different from the listed specs so I doubt it's machine related (except of course the AMD trend...):
AMD Athlon 64 3200+
NVidia 6800 Ultra
1GB Corsair 2-2-2-5 PC3700 RAM
Something like 600GB spread over various IDE and SATA drives...

I have this error as well. I believe that it is Cosmos related, as I never had this error until I installed Cosmos this week. Now, I get this crash on about 50% of logouts.

I also get this problem quite regularly.
It occurs if I use the "logout" button, or the /logout command line. Sometimes also when I "exit game".
Occurs on both my Mac and my Windows machine.
I'm using the current version of Beta.
