City map notes problem

Is there a Cosmos feature that makes the city map zoom out to the region view when I click on it? This is only happens in city view, but it's preventing me from annotating my city maps... which I'd really like to do!

I'm using the "light version" on a Mac (the Alpha and Beta zips kept the app from running).

Any ideas? Is there just something I need to disable?

In this cities creating notes with Carto+ isn't possible (because a click anywhere brings you to another map). You can try "Map Notes". In mapnotes it is possible to mark your current location by a slash command or by clicking on the player icon (even in these cities).

I have neither Carto nor Mapnotes. I assume I'm doing this through WorldMapInfo, right?

If I get Mapnotes, is there a way to use my existing notes?

Am I confused? Is there a native map notes function in WOW? I thought I was using WorldMapInfo, but after looking again, I'm clearly not...

If WOW doesn't have one, I have no idea what I'm using... Whatever I have was taken from the "lite" download here at cosmosui.org

You're prolly using Carto+, the Cosmo map notes AddOn.

OK. If you are using cosmos and the notes system from cosmos, then "Map Notes" will import them.

Ok I had this problem when I was trying to mark the rebel camp in stanglethorn, its on the very top edge of the map and everytime I would try and put a map note down guess what? it changed maps.

So here is the solution I have come up with.

/quicktloc x,x

Goto the map find the place you want to place a note and move your mouse over it. note the location of your mouse XX,XX at the bottom of the screen.

Exit the map and try the command /quicktloc XX,XX (where XX,XX are the cordinates of where you want to place a note. Go back in the map and your note will be there.

I've been able to click directly on my character marker to make the MapNotes with the current version of Cosmos. Might be a fluke, but it's better than nothing.

What have you tried to do, when the error was thrown? And which version are you using (where did you get it?)

@Lord Nakitomimaru: "Might be a fluke": No, it's intended. Not blocking the left click is also intended, because otherwise MapNotes would block Blizzard features.
