I can't see chat or chat! Only /help works

For some reason, I can no longer chat while playing. Every time i try to type anything in, except /help and the commands with ehlp and the white thottbot commands, nothing happens. I cannot read what other ppl in the area or saying or anything, do you know hwat's going on? I'm not sure if I accidently turned chat off or something, but for some reason i can't chat or see the chat.

This is what happened to me.

You have to turn on all the chat rooms again -- General, Trade, Skill notices, etc. Everything.

The only thing I couldn't get back the yellow System text.
I've tried several things. I need the Server notices, Guild log ons and offs, Auction House notice and such.
