Mapnotes not working as stand alone

I can not get map note 0.3.3 to work as a stand alone

What have you done?

After you extracted the zip into "World Of Warcraft" there should be a folder named "World Of Warcraft\Interface\AddOns\MapNotes" (exactly this way). Is it there?

Or do you have any other problems?

I was wondering about this folder myself just the other day... I use COSMOS to organize my bars, quests, and a couple other things... But the patch blew up my old settings which led me to find the empty WoW\Interface\AddOns\MapNotes folder as I was fixing things...

Long story short is, I never DL'd MapNotes, but it appears that COSMOS created the folder when I installed COSMOS. Is that normal for them to anticipate the mapnotes add-on? Not that I'm complaining, mind you. I was just curious if COSMOSUI saw a need and filled it unasked. ;)

I don't understand. In the current version MapNotes is part of Cosmos, but then the folder shouldn't be empty. In my post above I only wanted to check if he/she has extracted the zip correctly.
