Tackle Box Missing

I used to be able to right click and fish, which was a really nice feature. For some reason, it is not working. Any ideas how to make it work again? Maybe I corrupted my install or something.

The fishing interface is really clunky without this option.

Tacklebox is woefully missing for me too. I most certainly have it in my add ons folder, but it simply isn't present in game.

I downloaded cosmos for this feature! Ahhhhhh! Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh!!

if i had to guess, blizzard asked nicely for sarf to remove it, because of all this talk of fishbots lately, it prob made botting easyer. Oh well, thats what you get when people take advantage of games.

No, it will just ruin it for people like me who do not know how to do the right click feature. I have carpal tunnel and am always looking for ways to reduce mouse clicks/keystrokes, etc. This feature helped me a great deal.

Someone who can make a bot could certainly code it, whether it is a feature in Cosmosui or not. I am sure Blizzard knows this. I am hoping it is just an oversight in this build.

Try this. Go into the Interface\Addons\Tacklebox folder and open Tacklebox.toc.

Change this:
## Interface: 4062

To this:
## Interface: 4114

Save it and go back into WoW. In your Cosmos Config you should see the Tacklebox again.

If blizzard says not to use it, I won't. Until I hear otherwise, I will.

Ummm, guys. FYI Rayyl was the one that gave the fix for the Tacklebox to show again. Put credit where it belongs please. Peto just quoted Rayyl to say thanks. And now I must do the same. Thanks for giving a fix to bring back this wonderful wonderful feature.

Great.. there's the fix, but I need the download for the add on again.....
Long story that I don't wanna share, but I lost all my cosmos files, add ons and everything. I miss Tackle Box and I couldn't find a D/L link. :cry:

Just an FYI. I think there may be a problem if you have the Tacklebox options enabled, but don't have the fishing skill yet. You get a popup dialog with error text complaining about Tacklebox. If you just pick up fishing, the problem goes away. You could also, just disable the tacklebox options.

Thanks for the workaround! I wasnt sure that I could edit the file with Word, but it worked out. One of the things I like best about Cosmos is having all my icons right on the screen. I hate changing menus : )

I'm getting an ugly error when I start up the game. i do have the fishing skill. Tacklebox is not listed in Cosmos options...

Also, despite the error, nothing about Tacklebox works either

I changed the interface and checked fastcast but after I catch something it doesn't cast again for me. :( Am I missing something. I'm using the latest Alpha
