This "might" be a stupid question... but what's the difference:
Cosmos_Alpha_2004_12_08_r211_US_Version.zip
vs.
Cosmos_Alpha_2004_12_08_r211.zip
?

The interface numbers in the .toc files cause the Euro Beta isn't patched right now, this means they still use the old interface number.

Where did you find Cosmos_Alpha_2004_12_08_r211_US_Version.zip? It's not listed on the downloads here.

Makes sense... thanks.
One more question... shouldn't the mirror site have the most recent version? I downloaded the Alpha off www.cosmosui.org and it seems to say in the Cosmos.txt file that it's revision 213?

If you mean .org and .com they are the same site with two domains sitting on top of each other. They will have the same version on either one, they are not mirrored.

The patcher has version 2.13 correct. The snapshot site is no "official" mirror, it's more a solution sarf is providing because of the 24h rule on the SVN server. The cosmos version should be available with "/cversion" ingame, but this was broken (dunno if it works right now, but I think it isn't autoinserted, so the verisonnr is in most cases incorrect). At the point sarf uploaded 211 it was the newest version, and the "official" release is older at the moment.
