File output possible?

Is it possible to do File output through a UI mod? I'm interested in logging chat and doing a dump of the guild window.

Although WoW doesn't support logging chat or combat data to file (probably due to the botting potential), you can save variables to file when you log out.

It might not help you much with chat, but I think you could save guild member data to some variables, save em, and log out to force a write to file.
