I have thought.. that i am wondering if the game will allow.

I got to thinking the other day about how i am an enchanter/tailor, but no one know (Read: the people in my guild) even know what it can make or enchant. so i bascially end up spending a fair ammount of time working with the people i know trying to figure out what service i can do for them. i know that wow will let you export character data (via alakazam's or thottbot's programs) but i am wondering if there is anyway to export spificifics on skills. that is, is there any way to basically make a "site" (pending hosting obviously) that could list what i can make and do for people to refrence on thier own?

and for that matter, is there any way to findout how alakazm, or rather thottbot exports character data?

Yes.

There are a number of character exporter thingies being developed that I know of. ThottBot has support for showing your tradeskills and it should not be (perhaps already is implmented) that hard to show what recipes you have.

There is one in this forum. The others are strictly under wraps for now, AFAIK.
