I don't even know if it is possible, but it would be nice if there was a way to get automatic notifications when a rare/named mob spawns. I only ask for this because I am extremely bored and aggrivated with waiting for Humar the Pridelord to spawn so I can tame him.

I assume you mean "when such-and-so shows up on my hunter tracking"? Because that at least is a reasonable idea. Automatic spawn notifications are... bad. Very bad. Not A Good Thing.

Unfortunately, it's not possible to read information off of the minimap. Extra stuff can be added to it, but the tracking information isn't accessible to addons.
