View Full Version : What cosmos is and isn't -- question about features

Basically, I was wondering if there was an explaination of all of cosmos features somewhere. I tried the wikki, and it didn't seem to answer all of my questions (such as what is the difference between running in OpenGL and normal.)
I tried searching forums for OpenGL, and came back with nothing but support forum hits, from issues people were having.
Is there a definitive place to look, or is the wikki it and I'm just a blind retard that can't seem to work the search functions correctly?

To my knowledge, there is no complete listing of all the functions and what they do. Some are self explanatory when you get into the Cosmos Config screens from inside of the game and some aren't. If you've searched the forums for info on a particular function and can't find it, that's a good time to post your question.

At a glance, I'd say that running in OpenGL is the alternative to running in DirectX, as these are the two 3D standards at the moment. Most combinations of graphics card and OS will support one better than the other.
That's my assumption anyway... I've also seen nothing official about this.

Well, that's good to know that I haven't simply overlooked it. If a developer would be so kind as to explain that feature for me, or even go so far as to explain what they think might be the least self-explainatory features are, and how they work.. would be nice =)
