Cosmos freezing WoW

Why is it when I uncheck check version compatibility and I attempt to move stuff around in my bags, WoW freezes? BUT if I check check version compability some of the items within Cosmos do not work, like lvl's on quests and a couple other items.

When is this going to get fixed? Seems like everytime a patch comes out something gets fixed and something else gets broken.

EQ anyone?

It's the same for me..the hole game just freeze when i'm about 2 sell/buy or move around in my bags, it's just freeze.. =/ and i cant live without cosmos! so i realy want some anwser how 2 fix this :cry:

I have a similiar problem. But it just randomly happens. And only happens with a UI addon.

Same problem here, except when mine freezes i'm hearthing, going ghost wolf, or healing. I need some help!

This is a WOW problem and the solution can be found on the main site forums.

The given solution is to move the WTF folder and the WDB folder. Be warned I did this and fixed my problem with lag but lost all chat channels, I can talka and other see it but I can't see a thing. I can still see /p, /g, /s and /y, but no numbered channels, but iI did fix the lag issue. It wwould seem that the old file conflict with Blizzard's new patch.

If you are running WinXP, this may well work to resolve the problem where Cosmos hangs when you select something in your bag:

Network Connections
->Local Area Connection
->Properties
->Configure (your active network card)
->Advanced
->Checksum Offload
->Disabled <---- The fix

I do not have a solution for Win2K with drivers that do not support Checksum Offloading.
