im on a mac, quest Minion not workin

i have the latest alpha. people in game tell me it works fine for them but they are on a pc. im on a mac

any ideas on how to get mine working?

I have the same problem. I've searched the board up and down to find answers. I see a lot of this problem but no answers. At the addons page my questminion and thottbot don't work. I also have an error that involves chatting. It has to do with the "sky.lua" file. PLZ HELP!

I found this info on the front page:

Why is QuestMinion Disabled?
A lot of people have asked that question. The answer is that the current implementation locks up the game for a certain group of users on start-up. The new version will hopefully resolve these problems, but until then, it remains disabled. If you'd like to get it back move it into the AddOns folder, enable QuestMinion and disable version checking.

thats for the heads up.

so can i enable the minion /disable version check in cos options or is it a file i have to edit?
