I have disabled party quest because of a rather fustrating feature: I can't use my regular quest log book. It wouldn't be so bad but the problem came about that when i went to turn in quest I had I couldn't find the npc I needed to turn it in to. I kept checking the quest log, but because it was the party quest log IT WOULD NOT SHOW WHO TO TURN QUEST IN TO it would only show what items/conditions were required for the quest. So until this gets fixed to add that info I will keep party quests turned off.

The fact that having party quests at all now disables the normal quest log is pitiful. It forces you to disable an otherwise nice addon if you want to be able to see your quests properly. I had a different problem than the OP. I accepted a new quest this evening, then when checking the quest log, for about 5 minutes, above the quest description I saw this:
: 0/3
: 0/2
: 0/1
After about 5 more minutes it showed the first ( 0/3 ) requirement but took over 15 minutes to show the other two.
Party quests is a great idea, but don't remove the original quest log. There are too many bugs to do something like that.

I would have appreciated there being a setting to enable/disable it overriding the default quest log setup...
Unforunately I cannot test this to report bugs as I have to disable it to even play the game...

How do you disable party quests? I've had this same problem, and it's driving me crazy not being able to see where I'm supposed to go to finish a quest.

You can disable Party Quests by clicking the "addons" button on the character select screen before entering the realm. In the list look for Party Quest and unselect the check box beside it. This is true for any addon that you don't wish to use that may be loaded cosmos.

Was this an intentional feature in Cosmos? Talk about pittiful feature.
Not only does Party Quest suck for personal quest logging, but it also reders Quest Minion completely useless, unless you turn on all the 'Auto add' and 'auto remove' features. As one with many quests, I'd like to be able to manually add/remove my own quests.

I thinkthe new quest set up is much better then before. I realize that quest minion doesnt work with it but they are goign to change that. Good work guys thanks for seting it up to see our quests more planly and just clickign on the quest opens up the details. Great job

The now two window setup is better than the one window setup?
Sorry mate, I have to disagree there. My opinion. I much rather have a less cluttered screen.

I have come across a problem where, when i wish to view a quest, i click its name, and the window opens blank...i can see the window, but i cannot interact with it... i cannot move it, click the close buttons or anything...its empty. i have to reselect the quest in the quest log to make it remove itself...and to get it working properly i have to log out and back in. Just so anyone who is capable of possibly fixing it , knows. thanks for all your hard work trying to make my play experience better.
