If anyone in here sees this thread and have created a good amount of map notes. It would be great if they would mail it to me.
I can see the map notes files are in the C:\...\World of Warcraft\Interface\AddOns\MapNotes

My guess is that alot would be thankfull if someone would share they'r map notes if they have created map notes on most maps.

the mapnotes are saved in the savedvariables.lua file, so unless you find someone willing to go thru that file, extract everything then explain to you how to import it to your file, it's gonna be tough :)

just start making your own notes.

however, if you're looking for ore/herb notes for gatherer/mapnotes addons, there is a website that is compiling the info. i'll have to post a link to it later since i forgot what it is :p

:)

ps, if you dont need the Herb or Ore or Treasure or anything, just open the file you download, remove all the lines with Herb or Ore or Treasure etc. before importing with gatherbook.

oh gatherbook is here

scroll down a little. dont forget to load your lua file, then do a MERGED IMPORT :O
