Looking at all the notes on this patch I expect that Cosmos and the other Add-on Authors shall be busy this week making changes. Hope people send you lots of Pizza and Red Bull to be slid under the door of your programming cell. :P I do not envy you at all!
Patches for me is a love / hate kind of day. You have to balance the boosts with the nerfs, the new bells and whistles with the amount of time it will take for developers to re-invent the wheel yet again one more time.
Then there are those with little understanding as to the time involved rewriting the code to reflect the changes within the latest patch. Again, there is no envy here for the programmers.
What I do have is a lot of respect and admiration for the dedication of those who spend their free time at the expense of their own game time, real life, sometimes their job which actually pays their bills. I for one can not even begin to count the number of times I have called in sick to work because of a patch day. Thank God I have kids to blame it upon when I have to explain it to my Boss. Glad he does not play WOW!
Well, this all boils down to a large thank to the programmers out there that enhance our game and give up their lives to do so. My hat is off to you, /salute /bow /grovel, you have more than earned our respect and loyalty. Thank you for being there for us all.
Now I will sit back and watch how many people ask, "Is it done yet?" LOL

Maybe not today, but I've heard that the new patch with the following changes (check link below) is coming on the 18th, this month (March).

definetly not on 18th... friday?
Patch day are tuesday. Blizzard won't push a big patch like this on a Friday and risk inerrupting the biggest days of the week...
18th is a rumor for US servers. It was a date supposedly given by a blizzard rep for the EU people. *IF* we get the patch next week, it will probably be tuesday during the normal downtime (would make sense if they're running the "test" server through friday wouldn't it?)

Dunno about the US servers, but EU servers have scheduled downtime every friday morning.

US Servers Downtime is usually tuesdays. But Server downtime on fridays are possible due to crappy servers. Deathwing along with 10 other servers are down for 24hrs. Prob won't be back up to 11est or somewhere along those lines.
Bliz replied to it supposedly coming out on the 18th and said that it's very highly doubtful since it hasn't been tested. Since then EU WoW site has taken their post off. Rumors has it (cant find the post), but an interview with Bliz conducted by Gamepro says it probably won't come out to June. It's all still pretty skechy, but nothing new since its blizzard.....

* Meeting Stones, which will make it easier for you to find a group for a dungeon
* Four additional action bars, giving you a total of 48 action buttons
* New flightpaths all across Kalimdor
You can read the full patchnotes here (http://www.wow-europe.com/en/patchnotes/patch-07-03-2005.html).

You _do_ realize that you can scroll in a webbrowser?
The story is slightly down on the page as they have released other news in the meantime.

Could it be because it's cached? I use to work at my school department and our firewall as well as computers cached sites so they are faster access.

Uhmm... you mean cached on your end?
I am the network admin where I work.. and I don't cache
at the firewall, nor do I let my personal PC cache for speed.
So I know it's not cached when I see it. Besides I can refresh
(which should get a brand new copy of the page) and I still see
the part I circled.
I see the picture you posted... and the article you stopped at
is just above the one about Patch Day.
Try scrolling down just a tad more to the date of the post about
the patch... the 8th.

No I ment cached at your end since I saw you IE was BMHS, so I assumed that you were using it from school. Sorry if I was mistaken. At my old workplace we cached sites on our proxy server.
Well I did scroll down and its just more previous posts. I've asked some of my other friends and they get the same thing still =o/
