Old Tooltips?

Can someone tell me what the name of the old tooltips add-on was called? It might have been part of the 'interface' settings, but it was nice because it allowed objects targets to show up top (default), but the mouse-over uber-tooltips for buttons was shown in the lower right hand corner.

I see that was removed (from alpha) and and all tooltips are the same (defaults to lower right, draggable, fine)...but I rather miss the 'disconnect' between what was a mouse over tooltip and what was a mouse over 'object' tooltip.

Oh...and you don't get anything when you mouse over things like ore nodes or herb plants now (but those use to show up top as well).

I concur, i'm guessing Gymnast isn't done yet (The description of it is that is is flexible, but it only have 2 options now)? I liked the old way better, what the OP described.

AnduinLothar apparently has a newer revision of gymnast which fixes quite a bit, however the process for updating what gets downloaded was having problems last night (3/10/05) Whenever that gets working again i'm sure he'll publish the latest version to it.

After reading the author has an update to Gymnast, I grabbed it, and also put back all the tooltip folders that were removed.

In a quick 5 minute scan, I found the new version works flawlessly. All reported issues resolved.

In addition, he has enchanced the gui options with multiple anchor points (all 4 corners, and top,bottom,left,right), follow mouse, relocate uber, and more. Nicely done and looking forward to a new cosmos build soon.

I don't suppose someone could point me where to get this, if not through the alpha cosmos downloader? I went to wikiwaki but I must be blind, I don't seem to see it there :(

It's coming soon as Cosmos patcher get working again I understand.

The version I got and tried was obtained at:

The normal tooltip folders can be recovered from a previous cosmos_alpha or check your recycle_bin for a Cosmos_Cleaned and restore it - should show up in your WoW folder. Copy the tooltip folders back to your addon's folder. Be sure to setup Gymnast options as needed.

Patch up to the latest Alpha, it should all be good now.
