How do I join Other General Channels?

Is there a way to join other General Channels like General - Orgrimmar while I'm in another zone? Because when I try /join General - Orgrimmar, it just says updated password for my current channel

No. The General channels are zone specific. It's not possible to join one from another zone.

lets say youre in blackrock mountain zone or in blackrock depths instance, your general would be one of these. leave general. join new channel from chat window right click and type in general - ironforge, youl be able to talk/hear general ironforge. this allows you to find replace players for players who might have left your instance group without pre-notice.
