Cosmos 5-6 fps drop..

When you have this installed it sucks up alot of fps :( new patch comes,, i know not to add cosmos or inteface files..

I have this problem, I believe it is because the ability to move the windows (like the character, social, looting, quest windows).

When looting or any of these now movable windows is open, my FPS drops to zero, sometimes freezing the game for severel seconds. I have not been able to find something to turn this off, I even went into the "addons" button that appears in the "character selection" screen to disable everything that might turn off the movable feature.

This is using the latest release. I would not have a problem with all my bags open. My frames would drop from 28.0 to about 9.0, and often freezing.

Try deleting the layout-cache.txt file in the WTF\Account\(Your_Account_Name)\(Your_Character_Na me) folder. It holds the frame positions. Deleting this should reset all frames to default position and should clear up the FPS problems.

I changed the port number in the Interface\AddOns\MobileFrames\MobileFrames.toc

This fixed the social, character, and skills page, but when I opened my leather working, it froze/hung for a couple seconds then FPS dropped to ~9.0.

Awsome, Marsman, worked perfectly ... I'll see if turning mobile frams back on to see if it still works.

The frams are no longer mobile :-\ oh well.
