Anyone else having this problem? I've viewed WoW forums for something like it. Seems alot of people are having the same problem. Although i am not sure if they are using Cosmos. Upon opening Menus such as cooking , tailoring etc... my FPS drops. When i disable Cosmos everything runs fine. Ive tried disabling Moblieframes picked up a little bit more FPS but still sluggish. Besides disabling Cosmos is there a fix for this? Is anyone aware of this problem yet?
Thx.

This is happening to me too. FPS drops when I open up windows such as quest log or character window.
Any idea whats causing this? I've taken off Cosmos and FPS will be fine when bringing up windows.

This is most likely a blizzard bug relating to windows moving. Any addon that allows you to move windows will encounter this, the real fix will be in the upcoming content patch. Until then you can either a) delete the layout-cache.txt in your WTF/<Account>/ folder or b) edit that file and change the FrameLevels that are pretty large to a smaller number like 2.

Actually do not delete the account folder - this will erase all your cosmos configurations. THe frame positions are stored in a file called layout-cache.txt and ithere is one for each of your characters. It is located in your WTF\Account\(Your_Account_Name)\(Your_Character_Na me) folder. Delete that specific file only - no sense in throwing out the baby with the bathwater to solve this problem.

Sorry forgot to put the \<Charname> on the end of the folder. I wasn't suggesting deleting the whole folder, that would in fact be bad =)

I actaully found the problem.
First tho, Seems to be happening on my alt rather then my main. Which i can't understand why... maybe something is different on my main then my alt.
The problem seems to be in the addon
Tooltips:base.
I unchecked it and menu's seem to run fine again.
Also.. i heard if you disable moblieframes it fixes it.. Try that after you disable the tooltips.
Hope it helps.

First tho, Seems to be happening on my alt rather then my main. Which i can't understand why... maybe something is different on my main then my alt. That's because each character has its OWN layout-cache.txt file. If you have a problem with a specific char, make sure you delete that character's layout-cache.txt file.
MobileFrames is what allows you to move frames. No need to kill the whole addon - There are resets for all the frames right in the MobilesFrames setup. You can un-check any frame you don't want to have moved. Reseting Frames from here "should" work, but there is always the fallback of deleting the layout-cache.txt file, which is where frame positions are stored.
