Map Bug

Every time i hit "M" for my map.. everything is ok.. but when i close my map.. the game freezes. My computer still runs fine.. but WoW just stops running.. Please help!

It happened to me about 10 times in the last 2 nights... I wonder if just switching from Alpha cosmos to the other one will do the trick.. I will try that tonight... I hope thats all that is...

Also, it started locking up after each kill. don't know if there related...

Glad to know im not alone. I "DO" know that when i started using cosmos.. i started getting the symptoms. So please update this thread when you try that. Thanx. Anyone else have this happen to them? Did you fix it? How? Thanx!! :wink:

I patched Cosmos tonight with the latest Alpha patch(3-15-05)... I had no problems with locking up after looking at my map, which I did approximately 40 times, just a bunch of other errors...lol... So, I think I will try and repatch tomorrow night with the older solid patch(one with no errors) and see if it will fix the other errors...

Make sure you are doing clean installs - i.e. delete the interface folder between installs - nothing will make erros like mixing versions or not patching correctly. The current alpha is fairly error free- so if you're seeing all kinds of errors frequently, it's a good sign you've done someting wrong.
