Cosmos locating function

As I am sure many people do, I depend heavily on the /tloc function in Cosmos to find my way around.

My question is this: Is there any way to implement only the /tloc add-on part of Cosmos, or do I have to install the entire Cosmos? Which part of Cosmos is required for this functionality?

2 Quick questions:

1) Does /mntloc work without any add ons, or do you need a separate add on (such as Ziv's Awesometastic UI)?

2) Do the coordinates correspond to the thottbot coordinates? Or is the coordinate sytem different?
