UIdropdown menu error message

Can anyone explain what this error message means, and how I can resolve it:

You should not have that file in FrameXML folder, there should only be 1 file.

And therein lies the problem..
There IS only one file in that folder.

Then perhaps the code that used to refer to that file is still in place. Try deleting the interface folder in your world of warcraft directory and then re-installing the lastest cosmos.

That was the first thing I did. Figuring as much, the new install overwriting old files but leaving outdated or absolete files / functions intact so they could mess up the new install.

However I will try it again. Will post if it solves the problem.

It's combatstats.
Turn off combatstats and it goes away. Something in that UI is referencing the old file.

Sorry to revive an old topic but I'm currently getting this error in both release AND alpha versions. CombatStats is turned off and I've tried deleting the interface folder, running fresh installs - all the usual.

Any other cause for this bug?

I've been experiencing this too with alpha from last week and an alpha from the week prior. (At work so can't give exact dates but I'd guess last Friday and the previous Friday are good ballpark estimates).

It happens only in combat and only when casting for me. It's not 100% of the time though so I haven't been able to see a pattern yet. Usually happens 2-3 times in a 4 hour play session.

I do not have combat stats turned on.

When they are talking about disabling combatstats to prevent the error they aren't talking about going into the cosmos menu and clicking something. They mean at the character select screen to click the AddOn button, look for CombatStats and uncheck it. Do that and combatstats will not load and that should prevent the error message. Of couse a better solution would be for combatstats to get fixed but apparently DmgInc (The person who wrote it) is no-where to be found?

Same for me, exactly the same, I might as well not even describe.

I have this error message somewhat infrequently when I click on one of my hotkeys in combat. CombatStats is disabled in my Addon menu. Using the latest alpha. I'm experiencing it at that same interval, 2-3 times in a 4 hour playing period, though sometimes it happens once and then again the very next hotkey I click.

I didn't post because it doesn't bother me so much, but it would be nice to get to the bottom of it.
