Ok, this has had me confused for months. Take now for example. Blizzard puts out a major patch and Cosmos ceases to work. How do I know when cosmos gets updated? How do I know what to download?
I checked the main website and I see cosmos news talking like it's been updated but when I activate the patcher it has only one version named "OLD". I go to the download area and there is one Alpha version that has a post patch date. However other times I've gone there and there were NO new dates yet the patcher pulled down a new version anyway. I've checked the forums and read the stickies but nada. How do I tell when I need to download the Alpha versus the times when I "should" be ok with the release version? There doesn't seem to be any rhyme reason or standard for putting out this information. :?
At this point I'm not looking for the answers to these questions, instead I want to know how I am supposed to GET these answers on a ongoing basis! :?:
Any assistance is greatly appreciated.
