Here is a screenshot of the error:

I read on here to fully delete the Interface folder and download the newest version of Cosmos. I did that and still get the error (yes, I ran the updater as well). Why is it giving me an error from the FrameXML folder when it isn't even there anymore? This error comes up almost every time I cast anything, please help.

does the error occur onload or at some other time?

For me it mostly happens after I use an action button in combat.

ya, we're 99% sure it's CombatStats somehow defining more than the maximum allowed menu slots before the menu is toggled (which is when that particular string is defined). so what you end up with is a call to make a specified error that in turn creates an error that masks the first one because the string it's trying to concatonate is nil.
We can't get ahold of the autho DmgInc tho. He needs to fix it. Preferably it needs to be updated to use Earth, but that's up to him as long as it works. For now we might impliment a temporary fix that would shwo the correct error message, not sure yet.

So, is there any temporary fix we can do? (like disabling a certain addon to fix the problem) Or will we have to wait around for it to be adressed in a patch?
Sounds like disabling CombatStats is the way to go there - dont think that it has any dependencies.
