well, first of all i couldn't find any speciffic place where to put this question since there is no forum for bugs/problems/help with UI mods
well, since blizzard are patching all the time it's allways necessary to download latest versions of UI, with the last one something went wrong.
well, i've tested alot of combinations but eventually i found that cosmos + gypsy + some lil more addons is the thing that works for me since it's easy to configure and use.
i simply adore the two raws of gypsy's hotbar (for spells etc) and the buffbar at the side (displaying auras etc). when i install gypsy all's ok. but when i add to it cosmos it seems like it adds also the original wow bars (the bar with all buttons at the bottom and the one displaying auras etc on the left of the minimap, look picture for more details)...i really want to get rid of it so any help as of how would be great

here is a picture of how it looks right now

this was no problem till the latest version of cosmos...unfortunately i can't get hold of the older cosmosui

if you don't think you can resolve this maybe you could rec me a different UI...what i like about this UI's are :

Gypsy : the 2 rows hotbar for spells etc is a necessity (i hate the regular interface)
the side buffbar displaying all auras and buffs
the party bar is pretty damn good

cosmos : the clock
all the map options, cordinates etc
the ability to control other addons through it's interface (for example the atlas)

thanks in advance for any help

since both gypsy & cosmos include "bar mods" i would suggest using ONLY one or the other - never both at the same time, or weird things happen.

since you already prefer gypsy's bar mods, delete the cosmos folders that contain bar mods.

i'd start by removing (if present)
BarOptions
SideBar
SecondBar

folders and go from there.

make backups of everythign first - your WTF, WDB and Interface folders!

don't run cosmos***** or it will just re-download those folders :) manually update the UI by downloading the .zip when you want. or you can set up the ***** to not update the files, either way is fine.

good luck - i hope it works out for ya.

Yah, i have the same problem. I want to keep updating my cosmos files to their most recent versions, but I have disabled several folders in the place of gypsy.

Is there anyway of flagging folders to be updated by cosmos but not be used by WoW? Note: I do not want to go into WoW and disable each on by hand, I have already sorted things as is.

Also, you can replace the clock and a few other addons with a new addon by Titan. You can find it here, I recommend it. [Titan Panal]
