Sidebar - more than 6 buttons?

I like the Sidebar, but I need more than 6 buttons. Can I configure this somehow?

I've looked through the cosmos options but can't find anything to give me 8.

Check the New BarOptions section. It now allows you to set the number of side buttons.

Speaking of sidebar... did i just miss it or where did the lock sidebar option go?

Im using the 2 lower blizzard ones atm and they lock just fine, but since the change i cant seem to lock the 2 sidebars...

The Lock option is iin Blizzard's "Interface Options" In the center, near the bottom. It says something like "Lock Bar Buttons". It should be an option directly above enabling the various multi bars.

yea, the lock actionbar one? tried it, but it dont affect the cosmos sidebars

The old SideBars probably wont because we are phasing them out in favor of modifying blizzards side bars to do what we want. I'd recommend you not use the old side bars (uninstall or disable from the character select screen) and instead enable the functionality in "BarOptions" to use the new side bars like the old ones! Then Bar lock should work exactly as intended and you will have the same sort of activity.

I'm really dissapointed by the movement from Sidebars. BarOptions is extremely buggy...It works half the time, the other half the settings don't maintain. Heck it took me thirty minutes to find out how to take the artwork off the left bar (No the button didn't work). Sometimes I think Cosmos is attempting to be a little too overambitious...it really has gotten extremely bloated.

It is new, give it some time - it is alpha and we're working all the bugs out. If you want to help expidite this process, you can always submit a bug report for whichever error you've found via www.cosmosui.org/bugzilla/

On the subject of bloat, the very reason we are breaking cosmos down into parts (instead of one giant addon, several smaller modular ones which can be enabled/disabled as needed, these being sky, earth, fire, sea, etc). This is ALSO the reason we are modifying blizzards bars instead of using the old sidebars is to eliminate some bloat, alot of things are being done in this way.

I tried to disable them and use the modified blizzard ones, but they are still too buggy for my taste, cant get them to stay where i want them so i rather just live with having to be careful when i click my sidebars till they get it fixed.
