Suggestion in short
1. Easier access to latest release
People think cosmos is dying when they see no new version for 2 week on the official download site, and people can't easily find mirror

2. Easier access to patch note
People don't know what bug where fixed

3. Incorporation of "cosmos" official collaborator addons into cosmos
Like Coolcountdownhud, auraaspect...

4. Replacement of some addon that do the job as good as cosmos, and would free some time to cosmos developper... (ct_raid for example... cosmos one is used by more people, but don't offer the "send other people data if they don't have the addon")

1) using the cosmos***** patcher, you can get the latest release (as long as you've got alpha version selected) immediatly, we only do a major release once every week or two; but you can always find one up to date.

2) Patch notes can be read via the cosmos***** patcher again, they are displayed when the patching completes *if* something has been updated.

3) Any addon is welcome to be submitted to cosmos, in fact not all addons in cosmos are done by the in house team. We do not just include addons however as it causes the interface folder to become more bloated. As such, we try and only include what everyone wants - everything else should be fairly easily available through other mod sites, such as www.curse-gaming.com

4) Some addons are like that, others we code ourselves because there are things we want to have our way. (think BurgerKing, have it your way!).

About the *****, while "old-time" user might use it, newcomer to world of warcrat seeking an ui interface will take a loot at a few site, then see Cosmos, wow it sound great! Look at the download page, hum, this thing is 2 week old?

I was doing the comment because I saw a few "is cosmos dead" thread on wow official forum.

Also, keep in mind that many people don't use the ***** file, preventing them from seeing patch ant patch note. Maybe a page on this site listing all change could be done?

I'm an hardcore cosmos user (was an offificial mirror before my host asked me to "give" less bandwith... I still update my website daily, but i'm not listed as official mirror.

We're working on this one, probably will happen when we get a dedicated web developer. There are, however, several talented web scripters on the team, so it may come sooner.
