I don't enjoy spending a lot of time managing my add-ons; I'd rather be playing. This is one of the primary reasons I use Cosmos.
I recently read about an add-on called myAddons that could help make add-on management a lot easier.

The author states that adding support is "easy" and provides step-by-step instructions.
Is it possible to include support for this add-on for the entire Cosmos family given that Cosmos is actually a compilation of add-ons from a variety of sources?
Thanks.

What are you looking for? Cosmos already has a configuration portion for any addon that chooses to use it.

To clarify, I was looking for one place to see all of the add-ons (Cosmos or otherwise) in one place with the version numbers of said add-ons. It appears that the myAddons add-on was a first attempt at a system to do just that.
My question relates more to the adoption of this system. Would each individual contributor to the Cosmos suite of products have to agree to add the necessary support code or is it something that can be integrated in a library?

If all you want is to see all your addons in one place you can click on AddOn at the character select screen, if the author has put a version number in his description for the addon that will appear there too when you mouseover the addon.
Granted this can't be done if you're already in the game. As to having things work with MyAddon each individual person who worked on an AddOn would have to modify thier addon. Seems counterproductive though as MyAddons also seems to be aiming for a 1stop configuration location as well, click here to bring up your config options thing. Also asuming you're updating Cosmos regularly you will already have whatever the latest version of any cosmos mod is available and the MyAddon version menu would only be helping you w/ non Cosmos mods anyway. Just my 2 cents.
