Can't send map notes to others?

I've got the latest alpha of Cosmos and the recipient had also. Just get a bunch of spam in the chat window with like the location and what's in the map note. The map note never appears on the map.

any ideas?

Oh also what happened to being able to being able to click on the text in the chat when someone sent a map note and it took you to the map? When it was working that is.

The problem is that the newest version of Mapnotes is 'half-coded' to work with SKY..

SKY is intercepting all client-to-client communication however it does not handle the "SEnd to Player" correctly (In fact it appears in my version that the old client-to-client communication catching code is still there).

You CAN send to Party however just fine.. so in the meantime, until it's fixed, just invite the person and send to party rather than specific player name.

I posted this before but did not see an answer from the devs :(

Opps spoke too soon.. seems Marsman found and posted a quick fix for this till it's in the official version...

That fix is in the Alpha atm, I dont think its in the release currently though.

Try inviting the person and sending to party that seemed to work for me. Otherwise just typing a players name in and sending it does not work atm.
