No skill for crafting

After the last patch on only one of my characters I cannot get skill for crafting. This happens on my lvl 52 warlock who is 283 in Alchemy. When I pull up the crafting window all my recipes are orange, even the 1st noob potions I learned to make, and if I make something that i should skill up on I get no xp for it. I asked in general chat if anyone was having the same problem and a few others were also. One said he petitoned a GM for it and was told it was because of using cosmos UI. So I decided to wait a few days and see if a cosmos update would fix the problem, its been a week and am still having the same issue. Is anyone else here having the same problem? Can anyone give me any tips to fix this? Remember this only happens on one of my characters, my other 2 alts can craft fine.. HELP!

I believe this is a known bug that a lot of people are experiencing, even non cosmos users.

Only on one character of 3?

Yes. I think there was a disscussion about it in the Wow technical forum, but I can't seem to find it now. Users who don't use any addons said they were experiencing the problem I believe.
