View Full Version : Expanded PVP Kill info?

Anyone know of a mod, or has an interest & knowledge to add a mod that when you get an honorable kill the combat/chat log line that displays the kill is modified to include other information, such as the player level, their guild, etc..

Just seeing the names of the people i get HK's for is not enough, sometimes fights go pretty fast and I don't get to see their guilds or level names, having them in the chatlog would be nice.

I "think" (think because I haven't used it personally, only read about it) you want the addon "Azaziel's Book of the Dead".

It's available over on the curse-gaming site under the "Combat" addons.

Reading over it again just now, it sounds EXACTLY what you're looking for. :D

No..that keeps track of pvp stats for you

I just want something to expand the info line u get when you kill someone, to include the class/level/guild as well as the name and rank.

That way i can see who they are after they are dead.

I "think" (think because I haven't used it personally, only read about it) you want the addon "Azaziel's Book of the Dead".

Ahh, ok, just something that gives a slightly more detailed entry into the "Combat Log" section of chat, where instead of having it say: "You killed Kenny" it would say "You killed Kenny (lvl60 Night Elf Hunter)"

That correct?

Yea,

If you elect to show "Honorable Kills" in your chat log it shows something like this


Todd dies, honorable kill (HK: Master Sergeant) etc...

I want to see their lvl, guild, and class in that line as well.

Hmm.... I don't know of any offhand, though I don't think it would be something too terribly difficult to write.

i use an addon called "TargetLog+GrudgeList"

basically i only use the target log part of it though.

so when im fighting someone, i just hit shift+tab (make your own bindings, in the key bindings menu) to pop up the log window, and check their name, lvl, race, and class. it can be an npc, or pc, friendly or hostile, or any combination of those.
