so I've seen at least 3 different ways to spare non-cosmos addons from the updater:
1) create a file in warcraft\...\AddOns\ called "AddOnName.nopatch" (this is what I do)
2) create a folder in warcraft\...\AddOns\ called "AddOnName.nopatch" (eg. Auctioneer)
3) create a file called "nopatch" in the individual AddOn directory (per the 'Read first' sticky)
will all of these continue to be valid? I'm just worried that I'm gonna log in one day and then have to go digging through the recycle bin for my old AddOns.
