HELP! getting annoyed

I installed Cosmos yesterday, at first I was impressed at all the features, but then I opened a bag...OMG what a mess, all the inv slots are hanging down below the bags. So I read on here about resetting the mobile thingy, it worked for a few minutes then the bags screwed up again. So I decided to uninstall it......made the problem 100 times worse. Every bag was now screwed up, my addon button had gone from my character screen, so I couldnt do anything. I reinstalled because using the reset mobile thing seemed to be the only way to repair the problem, but this time it didnt fix at all. I decided to put up with the bag thing, and tried to get my other UI petfeeder installed, but although it is in the addon list, it isnt in the game. I miss this UI more than anything. Is there a way to get completely rid of cosmos without it screwing up my bags? OR is there a way to make pet feeder work WITH cosmos.

So far as I can see right now the only way to get rid of cosmos is to uninstall

Disable SiderBar in the addon menu and use the side bar option in BarOptions to fix the bag problem.

Pet feeder should work fine. Does it show up in the addon menu?

For the bag trouble, as reported by a lot of people that doesn't even dare to read the forum, go in mobile frame, then reset the bag position. disable Sidebar

Be sure to run a version that isn't
out of date, and you problem will be fixed.

also, if you need to uninstall wow or reinstall windows to remove Cosmos, I suggest you some computer course, and reading the faq.

You prolly have a problem in the layout cache, wich mean that even if you remove addons, your layout cache is in wtf/accout/player folder...

Sidenote: Most keyboard have an "return" or "enter" key for about 30 years from now, that a good thing to use, as it's usually the second biggest button in size on your keyboard...

Well thank you Flisher for your total sarcasm, if however you read my post at all you would have seen that I did do the mobile frame several times before deciding to uninstall, AND that my addon button was removed, so I am unable to disable anything. Also even AFTER removing cosmos none of this changed and the files were still there. I did use the uninstall function with cosmos, AND I manually deleted the files.

I love people like you, expecting everyone to know it all, why do you think there is a forum? So we can discuss the weather or maybe a problem?

And FYI I did solve my own problem and get the pet feeder working, but baring in mind this was my first UI after a under a week in WoW, I realise I should know everything like your good self. Must be great to be you.

Since you are new to UI, here a few tip to keep in mind.

If the /Interace/Addons directory is deleted, that mean you don't have addons, and they are automaticaly deleted.

If you experience problem, you can be 100% sure that is it not any addons causing the trouble, as you don't have any installed.

There is a readme file that explain how to remove cosmos, included in cosmos download if you want to remove it.

If you decide to run cosmos again, disable sidebar as mentionned by karl

What if you're having the same problems and never had sidebar enabled in the first place?

There is a readme file that explain how to remove cosmos, included in cosmos download if you want to remove it.

Reading that thing gave me a headache, I suggest you make better use of the "Enter" key

If you doesn't use sidebar, try resseting the bag location in MobileFrame.
You can also try the "anchor" button in the earth menu(on the minimap)
