Weapon Swap

I'm sure most of you are sick of seeing and hearing about this but....I'm new to the game and was just told about this awsome thing called weapon swap for my rogue. I have it downloaded with cosmos but have no clue how to set it up. I'm sure it has something to do with a hotkey setting. I know how to set a hotkey, but have no idea what to add in so that it will work properly. Also is there a certain spot to put your dagger so that it switches out with my sword in my main hand? Thanks for the help folks!

WeaponQuickSwap does not require anything to be in a certain spot.

it's best used by creating a macro by typing /macro into the chatbox.

then create a macro tat says /script WeaponSwap("Sword of Mighty Doom", "Dagger of Flying Monkeys", "Dagger of Flying Monkeys", "Big Dagger of the Tiger")

that will switrch between the sword/dagger and dagger/dagger

also be sure to create a file in your interface\addons directory called WeaponQuickSwap.nopatch

is there something that goes into the new file WeaponQuickSwap.nopatch?

And btw after looking farther, it seems all i have is a weaponbutton file, no weaponswap file undercosmos. Is that a seperate download and if so where is it?

ah, it is a separate AddOn, from http://www.capnbry.net/wow/ (it comes with a readme, that is kinda useful)

nothing needs to go into the WeaponQuickSwap.nopatch file, it just tells cosmos to leave the directory of that same name alone if you have "Keep interface directory clean" checked in cosmos. (which I recommend, as long as you have a .nopatch file for all of your non-cosmos addons)
