Backpack problem

I've got a problem on the newest version of cosmos, updated with the cosmos*****...
My backpacks are overlapping each other and items are not correctly placed in it etc.. If I open 5 bags the problem mostly dissapears.. How to fix this?

the 'reset bags' option is in the cosmos options (if you have cosmos installed, you get to these via the button on the minimap, or the cosmos options button on the menu that comes up when you press ESC). once in the cosmos options, you want to scroll down on the left until you see moibleframes. click on that, then scroll the right side until you see something pertainsing to bags (it may actually be at the top; I'm at work atm). you should then be able to reset the bag positions. also, if you use the 'sidebars' addOn, do not use the right sidebar, use the blizzard sidebar instead. the above referrenced thread should provide more info about what might cause it.

i had the same problem but fixed it by not using the sidebar from cosmos (unchecked sidebar in addons)

Reset bags does not work for me. They are reseted so they appear under the two blizzard sidebars. I managed to reposition them further left with a checkbox in the cosmos tools, but they are still blocked by the left sidebar.
What can i do to correct this? I'd rather not reposition them by hand since this led to strange side effects with the bank bags during last version of cosmos.

For your problem Karn disable the Sidebar addon from character select.

Thank you. Worked like a charm.

This arose from the problem of wow disabling all addons when the patch came. I didn't know which ones to enable after i downloaded cosmos so i enabled all of them. Bad move, yes, but what else could i do?

The problem that I am seeing is roughly the same. I had the bag overlaping error even after I disabled all addons (cosmos or otherwise). In fact the only way for me now to fix the problem (and keep it fixed) is to keep cosmos installed and use the 'reset bags' option in the moibleframes section (as mentioned above).

What I'm stumped is how is this problem re-appearing everytime I disable all my addons. It is only happening for one of my characters. Any help here would be nice. :D

well, the solutions are different depending on whether or not you want to continue using cosmos. if not, deleting the WTF folder and (i think) the WDB folder will resolve the issue, cosmos-free. otherwise, keeping sidebars disabled seems to prevent it from happening to others who have had the problem.
