View Full Version : VisibilityOptions makes me sad :(

Here's the situation: I use both Cosmos and GypsyMod. Before I updated Cosmos and added VisibilityOptions and removed PopNUI and TransNUI, I used to just play with PopNUI disabled and TransNUI enabled, so I can use the Gypsy HotBar instead of the default main action bar (if PopNUI was enabled, the main action bar would overlap the HotBar for some reason). Now that they're both one add-on, I can no longer do that.
I can't just disable the whole thing, because I want my WeaponButtons to be 40% transparent, and my QuestMinion to be 60% transparent. I figured out how to hide the main action bar with VisibilityOptions, but it also hides my bags on my HotBar.
So, my question is this: is there any way to hide the main action bar without hiding the bags (and ONLY not hiding the bags)? Or maybe a way to get PopNUI and TransNUI back while staying on Cosmos Alpha?
Until then, it looks like I'll have to live without my transparency. :(
Thanks for the help! :)

I might be wrong about this, but have a look in BarOptions. I think it's been outfitted with some new options that allows you to hide selected parts of the Main Action Bar individually. So you could just hide those parts that you don't want and leave the bags visible. Not sure if this works, but worth a try.

I'll take a look. Thanks.
Also, I've noticed that CastOptions refuses to self-cast bandages, whereas the old SelfCast add-on did. Really, you Cosmos guys should really check that your replacement add-on have the same functionality as the ones they're replacing. >_<

Please note, contrary to my statement in my previous post, I'm a big supporter and user of Cosmos. :)
Edit: Aw, nothing. :(

I'm not sure when the problem started.. but it reappeared when I enabled Visibility options as well...
My problem is that there are two 'sidebars' that I do not want to see...
Yet there is NO option within Baroptions, Sidebar nor Visibility to hide these. I can reduce the number of buttons to 1.. but not zero :( Furthermore setting the transparancy does not seem to affect them.
Oddly, the only started showing up when I the "Sidebar" mode under baroptions.. :(
I had to restore from an old savevariables file that I keep in order to remove it once again.

You can use the /hide and /ahide commands to get more options than are available from the cosmos menu.
/hide multil hides the left blizzard bar,
/hide multibl hides the bottom left blizzard bar,
etc

And this won't hide the bags?
Thanks, I'll try it out when I get on my WoW computer, heh.
disable sidebar addon at the char selection screen
then
disable the sidebars in the blizzard interface menue
