So an Officer of my guild was complaining about rolling on items in large raids. I was thinking.

Why not have an addon keep track of the rolls and report the highest roll?

Things it would do:
* Capture first roll from each player
* Highlight, or show highest roll
* Reset button for next item

Possible?

like CT_RaidTracker perhaps? I haven't used it myself, but it says it tracks loot and attendance, dunno if it tracks loot rolling, but u might take a look.

LootHog does that. Unfortunately it times out after a while, which can be bad during long loot distributions at the end of a raid, but for most purposes it does wonderfully.

LootHog has been improved by another author and no longer times out. it also lists class and lvl next to the name of the roller, for easier spotting of inappropriate rolls.
