View Full Version : Coloured Tooltips Not Working?

All the backgrounds of tooltips are showing up as blue instead of being coloured depending on PvP status/reputation standing/enemy/party/guild/etc. Is this a current issues with Tooltips, or is there just something wrong on my side?

yup it's an issue with Cosmos2, no fix yet but let's hope it comes soon!

Can anybody in the know please enlighten me as to when we can expect this and the Totem Stomper bug to be fixed, please?

Does this include the inability to see Guild Names in Tooltips? I noticed the blue as well but, from time to time, it will change color in Iron Forge and I can see the person's Guild Name displayed again.

Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. Just wondering if this is part of the same bug mentioned above.

It looks as though it "fixes" itself, if you open khaos and change a config in the tooltip window. Once closed, it's working as it should. (At least for guild tags, not sure about the background color.)

That is the ONLY thing that is working. Guild tags appear with the normal colour. Everything else is BORKED!! :evil:

The background colour and guild tag are known issues. Someone will work on it at some point. Probably. No, no ETA.

The issue with the guild tag appears to be that the setting is simply not ssaved on exit. If you go to the appropriate Khaos config and disable/reenable, it works.

The issue with the background colour appears more complex.

In case you haven't seen the revision notes in the main page, I have fixed both issues. The patcher should be getting you the fixed version.

After recently logging in and seeing that party colours was working, I brought up the Khaos config menu, enabled coloured tool tips and to my delight found all was well.

Thanks for the fix, as this was one of two issues that was negatively affecting my Cosmos experience. However, if you could please work your magic with Totem Stomper then I will be totally happy with Cosmos, with the current selection of mods I currently use. :D

Unselecting all color based tooltips in the options, does not remove the coloring scheme.

Well, I guess it's working a little too well :D I will look.

Edit: fixed. Patcher should get the latest version in about an hour or so.

Is there a way of having a different colour for people on your friends list?

I noticed since 1.8 that the colored tool tips are gone again. Was this by design? I've tried the steps listed above which worked in the past but don't now.

It doesn't matter to me whether they are colored or not, I just miss being able to see the person's guild that I have targeted without having to get right up on them to see who they are.

I hate to keep bumping this but, I can't seem to find on the forums here where this might have been removed.

As mentioned above, I've tried the old resolution to no avail.

Has colored tooltips been removed or, is it just temporarily broken?

(I don't even care if they're colored, I would just like to see the guild name of my target if possible)
